morning gifts!

as if you needed more on your plate to knit... but i just have to share this with you!! i'm perusing ravelry this morning, and i notice that laura aylor has the top i dunno 10 patterns right now! so crazy! so i look into who she is.... and i found out something fantastic!

my grandma was always uber generous on her birthday, and laura is no exception! if you head on over to her blog, you'll see more of the details... but basically she's being so uber generous all weekend long and is gifting us eager knitters one pattern or ebook  from her ravely shop! yah. all weekend long! holy smokes!

she is one talented designer, and i'm loving so many of her patterns! so quick! go check out her ravelry shop, and let me know what your fave pattern is!

i'm still searching and deciding, but as it stands right now, my heart is all aflutter over the devonshire cream. it's just so beautiful!

so pretty! and romantic!

what do you think? do you have a fave? are you already planning that next yarn purchase? i am! lol. :) what a wonderful way for her to say thank you to knitters! and what a way to celebrate! if i wasn't really aware of who she was before, i certainly am now! and i'll be following her patterns closely!

this just goes to show that you never know what you'll stumble upon on a chilly friday morning :) happy birthday laura! i hope you have a fantastic day! xo

  3. I think I'm going to go with the Devonshire too...thanks for the heads up! Happy weekend!

I have gone from having zero WIPs to having three. I'm knitting two shawls, one is a secret for a swap and one is for Downton and my second sock. Why not add a fourth?
