wasting no time!

i think i really am a multi-tasker at heart. i rarely ever have just one thing on the needles. case in point... look at what i've been up to this weekend...

yes it's the middle of summer, but i'm already gearing up for a very busy fall and winter knitting season... markets and all!... but that's the one thing with knitting....is that it's a tad time consuming. on the up side though, i am never without something to knit. i see this as a total bonus. love it! :)

the grey sweater is a wee sneak peek :) i'm doing another test knit. loving it! and i promise to chat more about it later this week..

what have you got on your needles? are you already thinking of fall and winter? do you have market booths you're working on growing your inventory for? christmas gifts already? what's on your needles? come chat. :) xo

  1. Now that I'm living in California the projects that are catching my eye are all lighter gauge projects. I'm the odd person that's definitely going to miss the cold weather this holiday season! I love knitting gifts but like last year I'm only going to make a few for the people who would truly appreciate them.
Hope you keep your momentum up!

    1. you're not the only one who's missing the colder seasons.. i'm originally from ontario... and i for sure miss the snow. (shh don't tell anyone out here though. lol). and knitting gifts for only those who truly appreciate it is a very good plan. so much work and effort goes into the gift... here's hoping i keep it all up. i'm betting the markets will keep me motivated ;) xo

  2. I always have more than one knitting project on my needles as well. Right now I am knitting socks and a shrug. I can't wait for colder weather! Happy Monday!

  4. I tried so hard to be a monogamous knitter this past few weeks with deadlines looming, but, the reality is it's SO not me!!!...3 new projects were cast on...

  5. I have a ton on the needles too. I get bored too easily if I don't! Sometimes I try to be monogamous, and it might work for a few days before I lose control and have to cast on something else. :p But hey, at least you're getting project finished too, not just starting them, so it's all good! :)

    1. i totally agree! as long as you're finishing your projects, if you have the cables for it, cast on for as many as you want! haha. i'm such an enabler. ha.

  6. Somehow, too many WIPs make my head spin so I try to keep them down to no more than three. So far, so good: a shawl, a sleeveless top, and an on-going blanket.
