weekend!!

friday already?! though i always look forward to the weekend, i wish time didn't have to fly by so fast. that always happens as we get older, hey?

so what do you have planned for your weekend? last weekend, as you know.. we went camping. but i sadly didn't get much knitting accomplished. surely this weekend will be different! i'm determined to make it so, no matter how much we have planned. tonight we have a bbq with friends, tomorrow we have a bday party to go to in the park, and sunday we have another bbq with my hubby's slo-pitch team. not to mention there are games throughout the weekend for hubby's tourney. yah. busy. but thankfully knitting is portable!!

i'm excited for this weekend though :) it's been so long since i've seen my friends, and it will be so nice to spend time with them! let's hope i have something to show you come monday, hey?

just a little bit of yarn yey candy to inspire you for the weekend ;) ....what are you working on? come chat! i'd love to hear of your weekend plans. and if they include any crafting? xoxo

  1. Well my plans for the weekend are to knit as much as possible. I started a Lighthouse Keeper's Wife cardi last week and even though it is knit up on US 13s it has been slow going with a newborn. However, I'm undaunted by the challenge to finish it before Wednesday so I can start a Mama Vertebrae for the SSKAL :)

Haha, even with 6 kids I dream...

    2. The portability of knitting was what convinced me to learn :) So yes I agree it is the best part of knitting.

  3. We're camping in Utah this week and I actually have gotten a lot of car knitting done. It makes long drives so nice to have busy hands and such a view. I've seen Hazel Knits yarn worked up, but never used it. It's so beautiful!
