yarn love.

i have a confession to make. the downton kal kick off has already happened... and i still am not sure what to knit. gack! however, my desire to have skeins and skeins of madtosh have come true! wanna see?

that being said many of these lovely skeins already have a purpose...and 2 of these skeins are actually sweet georgia ;)  i've decided to add a few high end knits to my booth for the next market... the february fox fair! it's gonna be so amazing. and i'm getting really excited.
but you would be excited too if you had these beauties to knit with, no? haha...

the rain seems to have let up here, thankfully for today... but i still have knitting planned :) more custom orders to work on, and then hopefully casting on for the jacket for meeeeeeeeeeee!!! alberta is cold people, and i need to be warm. i've just gotta do what i can here and if that means knit more, well then so be it ;) xo

what are you working on today? i'd love to hear about it! xoxo

  2. I'm so sad, there are no shops in my area that sell Madtosh (not that I don't have any). I'm hoping in a couple months I'll be able to put in a nice yummy yarn order but until then I'm satisfied with sewing up baby clothes.

Seriously, my desire to make baby things is bordering on insanity...today I'm taping patterns together, tracing and hopefully cutting them out soon :) If I'm especially lucky (or motivated) I shall sew them up as well :)

  3. By jacket do you mean Twiggy? which yarn are you using? I'm cuddled up in my Aidez. Seriously, I need to get a sweater stone because I'm wearing the heck out of it.

    Yummy yarn...droool...
I finally cast on for the KAL. I was having so much trouble deciding because everything in my stash is such a bright color and Downton colors are so much more romantic. But I finally cast on. Yay me.

  4. High end knits- love the sound of that. They are yummy colors! I can't get enough of yellows and oranges lately.
I'm loving the madtosh I'm using in the KAL- makes me feel decadent to knit with- so that's Downton appropriate. Can't wait to see what you decide on.

  5. Everyone should have a little MadTosh in their stash and a bit of MadTosh in their accessories wardrobe. I imagine that your high-end knits will sell fast!

  6. I have to agree, everyone needs to have a little MadTosh and a heck of a lot of SweetGeorgia in the stash! ;) I love the colours you chose! I find that picking a yarn/colour out is soooo easy, but the pattern...that's when I go crazy and can't decide. Then it ends up in Starteritis cause I just want to knit them all!
