whoooooooooooo's this?

just a very short post today peeps...

it's been nutso around here. and i'm actually headed to the post office for the third day in a row! ha. it's a good nutso... but still... also, i have a certain almost 5 year old beginning to grow concerned that his christmas stocking is not yet on the needles.... soo i really need to get moving on that too, it seems.

in the meantime... i'd like to introduce you to gordon.

i learned how to needle felt while at knit city. because that's how i roll. the ladies were super nice and let me take him to my booth to stab away at...

he was a surprise gift for owen... and he loves him. owen named him gordon... and looks for him often in amongst the sea of toys in his bed. it's sweet. and i'm glad he loves him. i kind of do too...

any little gifts that you've created lately? i'd love to hear about it! come chat!! you know there's always coffee here... xo

Now that you're a needle felting expert, maybe you can give me a little advice. I bought a pair of glerups back when Shannon had her giveaway (about a year ago I think). My toe has worn a hole in the side and I was thinking that I may be able to needle felt some roving on the spot to mend them. But I've never needle felted before. Think it would work?

    1. honestly, this was the very first time i've needle felted, but it was pretty easy! i bet it would be worth a try... you just need a sharp needle, and you continue to stab away at it.... let me know how it turns out! xo

  2. So cute! I have yet to try felting...
I think I have to put off aidez knitting until I actually get some gifts done, our car just died so the normal routine has been twice as hard for the last few weeks,,,sigh, knitting mojo is at zero levels right now!

  4. Gordon is adorable! I especially love his eyebrows! This reminds me, I should thread a loop through the owls my daughter and I needle felted at Knit City so we can hang them on our Christmas tree!
