it's true.. and i seem to be the type of person who's personality is a little bit obsessive. (i'm seeing this as a good thing)....

i just can't stop thinking about this cardi!! the only thing i'm just not the biggest fan of is all of the seaming... but i'm sure i could get over it... afterall, it would be worth it.... don't you think?

but i totally don't need anything else on my plate right now. no. but if i were to knit it... i think that knit picks wool of the andes bulky yarn would do very well, wouldn't you think so? (and i like porcini or wallaby... the link to the yarn should bring you to all of your colour choices..you know, in case you wanted to tell me your fave colour for this cardi...) but i really shouldn't knit this... right?
haha and now you're probably crushing now too... well you're welcome. very much.

have you been crushing on a specific pattern lately? are you really wanting to do some selfish knitting especially after all of the gifts of christmas.. i know it was 2 months ago.. but still... isn't it about time to knit something for youself? happy weekend! xo

  2. I've been crushing on this sweater for at least a year. I love it sooooo much. If you cast one I might just cry. Maybe wool for this will be my stash clearing reward...although I'm still quite a bit terrified of this - I've never done an adult-sized sweater...
I think porcini and wallaby are the best! I'd probably have to go with porcini...you know in my daydream that I'm allowed to break my stash busting rule and buy the wool.
Oh....I shouldn't have seen this sweater again. What have you done? ;)

  5. I've been dreaming of this sweater for a while, all the project notes and seaming kind of made me hesitate a little. I would do this cardigan in Cascade Eco+ Lake Chelan heather. If I were to use the knitpicks, I would use the Cadena yarn in Serephim.

    2. Difficult? Never fear!! The seaming is all stockinette! You got this.

  6. I knit this sweater a couple of years ago. It was soooooooo fun to knit and I hated the idea of seaming too but it's not that hard! Because I was so afraid of seaming I had never actually done a sweater before this. But I had to get over the fear with this sweater. I LOVE IT! I still have to get pics up on Ravelry. Getting pics of my FO's in a timely manner is on my resolution list for 2012. I did it in Blue Sky Alpacas worsted hand dyes in Chocolate. You won't be disappointed. It shows up stitch definition in the most lovely way. AND it is so, so, soft and snuggly and it is so, so warm. And I wear it all the time. :)

  7. I knit this baby up with Blue Sky Alpacas Worsted Hand Dyes in Chocolate. Oh. So. Lovely. It's the perfect yarn to showcase the cables. And it is oh so soft and warm and the bestest sweater. I knit this up about 2 years ago but still haven't posted pics yet on my Ravelry page (a 2012 resolution of mine is to take pics in a more timely manner!) You will love knitting this sweater up and seaming? It was easy, peasy. The idea of seaming scared the poop out of me but I overcame it with this sweater. I wear it all the time.
